Third man arrested over Limavady Drugs Seizure

Detectives from Reactive and Organised Crime Branch investigating the discovery of a substantial cannabis factory in Limavady yesterday, Wednesday 16 March, when herbal cannabis with an estimated value of £125,000 was seized along with other drugs paraphernalia have arrested a 24 year old man.

He was arrested this morning, Thursday 17 March, on suspicion of conspiracy to cultivate cannabis and doing an act capable of encouraging or assisting the commission of one of more offences contrary to Section 46 of the Serious Crime Act and is currently in custody assisting police with their enquiries.

Two men, aged 46 and 53, who were arrested yesterday remain in police custody at this time.
