TUV’s Armstrong Submits Nomination Papers for East Londonderry

1 Mins read

Jordan Armstrong, TUV Assembly candidate for East Londonderry has formally submitted his nomination papers.

Commenting, Mr Armstrong said: “I am delighted to be the TUV candidate for East Londonderry. I offer people the opportunity to vote for something different. A fresh face with fresh policies for East Londonderry.

“With a single MLA TUV have demonstrated that they can make a difference. Jim Allister has consistently exposed the waste at Stormont and been unrelenting opponent to Sinn Fein/IRA. His victory when it came to banning people with terrorist convictions from holding positions as Special Advisers was the first victory for innocent victims in years..

“Many people recognise the contribution which Jim has made in the Assembly. In a recent survey he was the highest ranked of all the party leaders in Northern Ireland. But there is no point saying Jim Allister is doing a good job unless you vote for his candidate.

“I’m asking that people strengthen Jim’s hand in the next Assembly by electing a TUV MLA for East Londonderry. I believe that there is a real opportunity to do that in this election.

“A vote for TUV also sends a clear message on the EU. Unlike others we have not have to have a big debate about the EU referendum. TUV has always been clear that the UK should control its own money, make its own laws and most importantly control its own borders. Therefore we have always believed that we would be better off out.”
