Two arrested and questioned over Ballysally Shooting Incident

Detectives investigating a shooting incident at a house in Elms Park on Tuesday 5 July have arrested and questioned two men.

The 37 year old and 48 year old were arrested separately over the weekend. Properties in Redthorn Court and Ballygallin Park were also searched as part of the investigation.

Both men were later released.

Detective Sergeant Wallace, from Coleraine Reactive and Organised Crime Branch, said: “We continue to appeal for witnesses, or those with information about this crime, to come forward. Detectives can be contacted by calling 101. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
