Two arrested on suspicion of burglary and two counts of theft

An 18 year old man and 18 year old woman have been arrested on suspicion of burglary and two counts of theft.

The arrests were made in the Quay Road area of Ballycastle on the afternoon of Friday 21 August and are believed to be in connection with a burglary at business premises in the Clare Road of Ballycastle and two thefts from cars that were parked in the Ballywillan Road area of Portrush, all which occurred that same day.

The two people currently remain in custody assisting police with their enquiries.
