Two People Rescued In Coleraine By Fire Service

NIFRS responded to a report of a fire at a sheltered housing flat at Weavers Court in Coleraine around 6am yesterday morning. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hosereel jet to deal with the grill pan fire. Crews rescued two persons from the flat.

A 20-year-old girl received oxygen therapy from FRS for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire appeared accidental. Fire crews from Coleraine station attended the incident.
