The Deputy Leader of UKIP, Mr Paul Nuttall spoke yesterday about his party’s desire to work closely with the DUP.

Mr Paul Nuttall was speaking at the official “unveiling” of the 10 candidates his party is standing for election in Northern Ireland when the idea of a UKIP/DUP pact was brought up.

He confirmed that there has been talk about such a pact and said that his party will work with the DUP if they can deliver a referendum on the UK’s membership of the EU by the end of the year.

The comments were welcomed by the DUP MP, Rev William McCrea.
