NI Water recently welcomed on a visit BTEC Construction students from the Coleraine campus of the Northern Regional College on a visit to the Wastewater Heritage Centre at Duncrue Street in Belfast.
The students learned about the construction and role of the Belfast Wastewater Treatment Works at the site, including the Terminal Pumping Station.
They were also shown around the surviving Victorian treatment works and also learned about some of NI Water’s key campaign messages, notably ‘Bag It and Bin It, which educates people on what not to flush down the toilet.
