Wilson proposes Council open up Community Grants Scheme for Queen’s Birthday Celebrations

Councillor Darryl Wilson proposed this evening at council’s Corporate Policy & Resources committee that a community grants scheme be opened up to facilitate community events across the borough (such as Street parties etc) to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen’s 90th Birthday.

More details will follow after ratification at full council. Community groups and organisations should keep an eye on local press / social media for more details.
