Woman Recovered From River Bann

At 1630 approx. on Saturday 4th July, Coleraine Coastguard was tasked, along with a number of other agencies, to the River Bann, following a report of a woman entering the water at Mountsandel jetty. Coastguards arrived on scene as the woman was being recovered to safety on the opposite side of the river, by two members of the public who had been nearby as the incident unfolded. The casualty was handed into the care of the PSNI.
