Woman Stabbed in Long Commons, Coleraine.

Police arrested a 35 year old man on suspicion of GBH with intent and a number of other offences including possession of a class B drug after a woman was stabbed in the Long Commons area of Coleraine this afternoon (Saturday 26 September).

Inspector Jonathan Brown said: “The man was arrested following an altercation at around 12:20pm. He has been taken into custody for questioning. The woman was brought to hospital for treatment to stab wounds, which are not thought to be life threatening.”
