Young Enterprise programme at North Coast Integrated College “enjoyed by all”

On Monday 7th September, Young Enterprise facilitated the ‘Your School Your Business’ programme for year 8 students at North Coast Integrated College. The aim of this programme is to help support the primary-secondary transition in an exciting and engaging way.

The programme includes the opportunity for students to meet and explore the roles of staff within their new school. Students are also encouraged to develop enterprising skills, attitudes and behaviours including:

  • Confidence and a can-do attitude
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Creative thinking and problem solving
  • Teamwork and leadership
  • Resilience, persistence and responding to change

The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all involved!
