Young people arrested for West Strand Vandalism.

A number of young people were arrested today in connection with the criminal damage to the pillars and safety wire at the West Strand Promenade in Portrush.

Police also found bolt cutters when searching a house yesterday.

The young people have all been referred to Youth Diversion, a scheme aimed at diverting young people away from re-offending.
