Youths in Ballycastle and Dervock ‘causing annoyance’ on Scramblers

Police in Ballycastle have received reports recently regarding youths causing annoyance on scramblers in and around the old Church of Ireland Manse, Castlecatt Road and the area adjacent to Station Cottages, Dervock.

A PSNI Spokesperson said : “Some of the youths involved are also believed to be climbing onto the roof of the old derelict building on the Castlecatt Road which is unsafe and serious injuries could occur. ”

“Police will be treating the scrambler issue as Anti Social Motoring and motorcycles will be seized when the relevant conditions are met under the Road Traffic Order.”
