Yvonne Boyle hands in nomination for East Londonderry

1 Mins read

Yvonne Boyle Alliance Candidate for East Londonderry was successfully nominated today to stand for the upcoming Assembly election.

Ms Boyle, who worked for over 25 years as a Social Worker in the Western Trust, said:

It is a privilege to be nominated to stand as a candidate in East Londonderry.

It’s time to end ‘go slow’ politics. It’s 18 years after the Good Friday agreement and yet the pace of change has never been slower.

I am proud to be standing with a diverse range of Alliance candidates, and particularly in the North West with my colleague Chris McCaw, the Foyle Candidate.

All Alliance candidates have have a commitment and desire to effect change. I will build on the tract record already established by Alliance MLAs in the previous mandate – one of being transparent in politics, inclusive of all and ambitious for the kind of Northern Ireland we know we can help make a reality.

So it’s ‘Fast Forward, Better Sooner’.
