Fire crews are currently working to put out a fire that has taken hold of a chip shop in Ballymoney.
Emergency services were alerted to reports of a blaze around 11am this morning [Thursday, October 21] at Cunningham’s Catch situated on Charles Street of the town.
A NIFRS spokesperson confirmed that 2 Fire Appliances each from Ballymoney, Coleraine and Kilrea Fire Stations and 1 Fire Appliance from Portrush Fire Station are at the scene.
Translink has said that "Charles Street stop in Ballymoney has been suspended due to a property on fire at the stop. The 218 express services will be affected and all pick up’s and set downs will be at Kilraughts Road end only."
