The Golf Links Hotel, Kellys Complex situated on the Bushmills Road, Portrush has submitted a planning application for a proposed extension to the existing hotel complex to provide 35 additional bedrooms, spa, pool and leisure facilities, and all associated works.
Kellys announced in March that its nightclub LUSH was closing after 25 years due to the response of the ever-changing nightclub culture, not to mention a global pandemic.
Speaking following the closure of LUSH Peter Wilson, owner of the complex said:
“The Complex has been central to the North Coast’s success as an entertainment and leisure destination for over 50 years. We have always been pioneers in innovative developments and are confident our investment plans will deliver a much-needed boom to the entire local economy, securing our long-term future as a family-run business.”
The application will come before the planning committee in the next few weeks.
