A large police presence is currently in the Ballyclogh Road area of Bushmills.
An eyewitness said that at least ten to fifteen officers appear to be searching a field and around a nearby derelict property.
In response to a query submitted by Causeway Coast Community, a PSNI spokesperson said "Police are currently at the scene of a search. There are no further details at this stage."
