A number of lifelines along the River Bann have been removed within the last 24 hours.
At least six lifesaving aids have been removed from locations on the walk from the Old Bridge at Christie Park to the Cutts at Castleroe.
In June last year, a joint appeal was made by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council and the PSNI following the removal of 11 individual lifelines in the same location.
