Coleraine has seen the majority of fixed penalties handed out by litter enforcement contractor WISE within the first six months.
Since their trial contract started in August 2022 - 31st January 2022, the firm has dished out a total of 1855 FPN’s with 1237 being within the Coleraine area.
The majority of offence type issued was 'littering-cigarette butt' ( 1042) followed by 'littering-rolled up cigarette' (256).
