10p Price Rise Across Alpha Media Group

The Alpha Media Group has increased the cover prices of its newspapers this morning. Local papers such as Coleraine Chronicle, Ballymoney Chronicle, Northern Constitution and Ballycastle Chronicle are now £1.60.

Declining advertising revenues and the rising price of newsprint have been blamed for other publishers decisions to increase their cover price.
