1,700 jobs at risk as DW Sports falls into administration

‘DW Sports’ has said it is to fall into administration with 1,700 employees at risk.

The company is expected to appoint insolvency specialists today after its income was wiped out by the protracted closure of stores and gyms during lockdown.

As off 11.41am their website is unavailable. DW sports have an outlet at Riverside Regional Centre, Coleraine.

The company also operates stores in Belfast, Derry, Bangor and Ballymena.
