Approximately £4000 of damage was caused to property at Millburn Primary School following an arson attack to a shed on Saturday afternoon.

A spokesperson for Millburn Primary School said “A huge thanks for the invaluable support received from the members of our community who acted so swiftly in notifying the Fire Service about a fire on the school premises on Saturday afternoon.

While the damage is significant (potentially in excess of £4000), the situation could have been much worse had the community not been so vigilant and on our side. The culprits have admitted arson to the PSNI.

Once again, many thanks from everyone who makes up the Millburn PS team. Your continued support is always greatly appreciated!”
