£5000 + Worth Of Tools Stolen From Van In Limavady

A number of tools were stolen from a work recovery van in the Gorteen Crescent area of Limavady. It is understood the tools were stolen between the late hours of Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.

Speaking to Causeway Coast Community a spokesperson for Sandy Arthur said ” We have started to go through an inventory of the main items that were stolen. There are other tools missing but we will have to wait until the morning so we can check properly in daylight”.

We will provide an award to anyone who has any information of the whereabouts of the theft or the people who were involved”.

Below is a list of the main items :

– Yellow Toolbox with a full selection of tools including SnapOn and Mac Tool items.
– SnapOn SOLIS ECU code reader
– Long custom made set of Jump Leads about 15m long
– Work lights
– Electric connection Box with Connections, Soldering Iron and SnapOn Crimps
