Sinn Féin councillor Brenda Chivers has welcomed the progress of an accessible play park in Limavady and hopes that it will receive approval for Stage One of the Business Case at next week’s Leisure and Development Committee.

Cllr Chivers said:

“My party has been working with Causeway Coast and Glens council for a number of years regarding the play park and its location.

“Limavady ranks highly in the deprivation index particularly with regard to access to facilities and services which further highlights the need for play provision in this area.

“The diversity park is a much-needed facility that the people of Limavady deserve and I will continue to work with Council to press for this much-needed facility.”
