Air Ambulance ‘Declared Offline Due To A Technical Issue’

The Air Ambulance experienced difficulties taking off earlier today ( Shortly after noon ) following an incident in the Rockmount Gardens area of Articlave. Babcock engineers are currently still at the scene.

Speaking to Causeway Coast Community a spokesperson for Air Ambulance NI said “We can confirm that the Air Ambulance NI helicopter was declared offline earlier today due to a technical issue.

Our engineer has travelled to the scene and repairs are currently underway.”

UPDATE : 17.19 – “We can now confirm the helicopter is back in service, for the short time we were offline we provided cover using our Rapid Response Vehicle.”
