Air Ambulance In Attendance At Dervock RTA

The Knock Road, Dervock is currently closed following an RTA.    The PSNI, NIAS, NIFRS and Air Ambulance are at the scene.

A spokesperson for the NIAS said ‘The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at  16:06 on Tuesday 29 January following reports of a 2 vehicle RTC on Knock Road, Dervock.

NIAS despatched one Rapid Response Paramedic and an Emergency Crew to the scene.

The Charity Air Ambulance HEMS crew was also dispatched to the incident.

At 17:20 this remains an ongoing incident with all NIAS personnel still at the scene’

A PSNI spokesperson confirmed that a driver was transported to hospital for treatment of injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
