The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 12:58 on Wednesday 23 January 2019, following reports of an incident at Kilraughts Road in Ballymoney.
NIAS despatched an Emergency crew to the scene. The Charity Air Ambulance HEMS team was also tasked to the incident.
Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, the patient was airlifted by the air ambulance, to Royal Victoria Belfast.
The Police Service were also at the scene.
