Airport chaos after computer check-in systems crash

Jet2 passengers at Belfast International Airport this morning suffered disruption through check-in as computer systems crashed.

Passengers were queuing up to two hours to check-in which resulted in flight delays.

Taking to Twitter disgruntled passenger James Kilpatrick said ‘Disgraceful scenes at Belfast intl airport. Systems down (as it has been for days), bag drop is chaos and there is no communication from any airline or airport staff about why theres a hold up. No organisation whatsoever.’

We have reached out to Jet2 and Belfast International for comment.
