
The raid of a double ATM at Tesco Crumlin is the tenth ATM theft in Northern Ireland this year. The incident happened in the early hours of Friday Morning ( 19th April 2019 ).
The machine was forcibly removed from the Tesco Store using tactics similar to previous attacks. The thieves used a stolen digger, tractor and trailer.
Main Street Crumlin remains closed.
Gardai in Kells, Co Meath are also investigating the theft of two ATMs in the town overnight.
A digger and tractor/trailer remain at the scene. The two banks targeted are only a few metres apart, significant damage was also caused.
