Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway Comes To Ballintoy

1 Mins read

Ant & Dec brought their hit TV show Saturday Night Takeaway to Ballintoy this evening for sofa watch.

Ballintoy is a small village, townland and civil parish in County Antrim and has been used as a filming location in HBO’s epic series Game of Thrones.

Four weeks ago the popular prime time show, fronted by the North East’s favourite duo, watched by millions every week brought sofa watch to Portstewart.

The four locations where the sofa was this week were : Ballintoy, Loch Lomond, West Bretton and Lord Hereford’s Knob.

Local fans of the ITV hit show were left jumping off their own sofas or running from close by establishments in the hopes of winning the chance to fly off to Florida for next weeks final show of the series.   Traffic was queued for 2 miles to the location in Ballintoy.

Maeve Morrison won a trip to Florida for next weeks final show.

Comedian Alexander Armstrong was the star guest announcer.
