Armistice Day Service in Coleraine

The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council has taken part in an Armistice Day service in Coleraine. Alderman Maura Hickey led Council members at the event which took place at the War Memorial outside the Town Hall.

The service included a two minutes silence to remember the fallen. Members of the public also gathered as silence descended on the town centre.

The service was attended by MP Gregory Campbell, MLA Maurice Bradley, the Lord Lieutenant for County Londonderry Denis Desmond CBE along with representatives from the Navy, Army, Air Force, UDR, Army Cadet Force and the Air Training Corps.
