1 Mins read

A BARRISTER for a woman with a Stranraer address has entered not guilty pleas on her behalf in her absence at court regarding two charges linked to the Armoy area.

Christina Saul (35) is accused of communicating false information to a PSNI call handler that a ‘bomb’ was present at Fairhill Street in Armoy on August 31, 2019.

She is also accused of making a threat to the PSNI on October 26, 2017, a car and a dwelling at Fairhill Street would be damaged.

A prosecutor told a previous hearing the case involved 999 calls.

At Coleraine Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena on Monday, defence barrister Alan Stewart said there were nine prosecution witnesses including a “voice expert”.

The case has been adjourned to March to fix a date for a contest.
