Baird and Hillis call for residents in Causeway Coast and Glens Borough to be kept better informed.

1 Mins read

Cllr Joan Baird and Ald Norman Hillis are proposing better communication and information through a notice of motion.

They are requesting the Council to deliver a Council news sheet twice a year to every household. Ald Norman Hillis said “Not everyone buys a newspaper or has access to a computer or social media so we feel that at minimal cost residents can get council information via a news sheet. With the new Borough being so large we feel good communication with residents is very important.

Feedback that we are getting has told us citizens would value updates by way of a twice yearly news/information sheet.”
