Ballycastle Co-op store welcomes Food Bank

1 Mins read

Ballycastle Food Bank held a food collection in the Ballycastle Co-op store today. The food bank will be making hampers for those who need some extra help this Christmas.

Steven McAuley, member pioneer from the Ballycastle and Bushmills Co-op stores, said “It was great to see so much community spirit at the food collection, so many people donated very generously to help those in need this Christmas. This was also a great opportunity to welcome the food bank, who are also one of this years Ballycastle store Local Causes, in-store.

I would urge anyone who is a Co-op member to go online and choose their preferred cause for their local store.”
