Ballycastle man wins Emmy for work on Game of Thrones

Ballycastle man Ronan Hill has won his third Primetime Emmy for his work on the popular TV series “Game of Thrones”.

Ronan Hill was awarded the Emmy for “Outstanding Sound Mixing” at the awards ceremony in Los Angeles on Saturday night.

The Ballycastle man has worked on every episodes of the fantasy series, much of which is filmed in and around North Antrim.

Ronan’s brother, Conleth Hill, stars in Game of Thrones, playing the role of Lord Varys.
