Ballycastle mum, Nicole McNicholl, made a spooktacular discovery at her home in the lead up to Halloween this year. Nicole, who lives in Ballycastle with her sons Cormac (23) and Bobby (7), decorated her home with halloween decorations including gravestones, skeletons and all kinds of ghouls to brighten up the neighbourhood during the lockdown period.

Nicole had issues with theft of some of her 2019 decorations and therefore decided to check up on her home CCTV system to make sure everything was intact. She discovered a creepy “figure-like” orb dancing around the area in the back yard where the gravestones and skeletons had been set up.

Nicole said, “we don’t really know what it is but it does look very unusual and I don’t have an explanation for it”. The CCTV captured video of the ghostly figure around the yard for around 20 minutes.

“It appears to come over the fence and dance around the grass area where the gravestones are and then leave the same way it came in, I have checked the CCTV every night since but haven’t seen it again.”

Check out the video here and see what you think it is.
