A man was convicted at Coleraine Magistrates’ Court on Friday for claiming benefits he was not entitled to.
Leonard Lyons (36) formerly of Edenmore Crescent, Ballymoney claimed Jobseeker’s Allowance totalling £3,706 while failing to declare employment.
He was given a two month prison sentence on each charge to run concurrently with an unrelated existing sentence, currently being served at Magilligan prison.
