A MAN from the Ballymoney area has been fined £250 for his role in an early morning fight in the car park of Kelly’s nightclub in Portrush.

Reece McClenaghan (22), of Farran Road, was sentenced at Coleraine Magistrates Court on October 19 in connection with an incident which happened around 2.30am on February 4, 2018.

There are co-accused in the matter whose cases have yet to be dealt with.

A prosecutor said police were called to a report of a fight.

The court heard the defendant had a previously clear record.
