Ballymoney man is accused of driving with excess alcohol in breath

A MAN is accused of driving a vehicle whilst having excess alcohol in breath.

William Robert McCook (34), of Margaret Square, Ballymoney, is alleged to have been detected at Castle Street in the town on July 17 this year.

Regarding the same date the defendant is also charged with taking a car without the authority of the owner and absence of insurance.

At Coleraine Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena on October 12, defence solicitor Denise Gillan asked for the case to be adjourned to October 26.
