A MAN is charged with causing criminal damage to property belonging to the Northern Health Trust and with being disorderly at the Causeway Hospital in Coleraine.

The charges faced by Aaron Brown (29), of Cafe Lane in Ballymoney, relate to February 16 this year.

Meanwhile, the defendant has pleaded guilty to being disorderly at John Street in Ballymoney and damaging a window on February 8 this year.

A defence solicitor said he wished to write to prosecutors about the hospital incident.

The defendant, speaking from the dock at Coleraine Magistrates Court on March 16, said he was “sorry” for causing damage at the hospital.

The cases were adjourned to April.
