Ballymoney man is charged with being disorderly

A MAN has been charged with being disorderly at Dunluce Road in Portrush.

Connor McGivern (20), with an address at Carnany Gardens in Ballymoney, is also charged with assaulting two PSNI officers and resisting one of the policemen in the execution of his duty.

Relating to the same date – September 12 this year – the defendant is also accused of speeding at a 30mph zone.

The case was mentioned at Coleraine Magistrates Court on October 7.

The defendant was given £500 bail and the case adjourned to October 14.
