A woman accused of dishonestly receiving stolen goods – cigarettes allegedly taken in an armed robbery – has had the matter sent to Antrim Crown Court.
Jade Mary Anna Harrison (30), with an address at Charlotte Street in Ballymoney, is accused of receiving a quantity of cigarettes on a date unknown between July 5 and July 16 in 2017.
She appeared at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday and was given £500 bail to appear at the Crown Court.
Defence barrister Neil Moore said it was alleged Harrison had received cigarettes which were taken in an armed robbery.
He said a man accused of carrying out a robbery currently has his case listed at Antrim Crown Court.
Recently, Ballymena Court heard Stephen Johnston, with an address in Antrim, was accused of having a shotgun whilst stealing cigarettes worth £6,289, £1,161 worth of tobacco and £1,600 in cash in a robbery at a Spar shop in Carnlough.
