Emergency services were called to an incident yesterday evening tasked with the search for a missing man.

Community Rescue Service, PSNI and NIAS tried tirelessly to save the mans life but unfortunately, he was already deceased.

Emergency services recovered the body shortly after 9pm.

A spokesperson for Community Rescue Service said ‘All those in attendance offer their deepest sympathies to the family and friends at this most difficult time.’

Deputy Mayor Trevor Clarke said “My thoughts are with the family of the deceased, and with the members of the emergency services in attendance at the scene”.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.
