Body recovered in Co Antrim

A body was recovered from the sea in the Bay Road area of Carnlough in the early hours of this morning.

Coastguard teams from Ballycastle, Larne and Portmuck together with Redbay Lifeboat and the PSNI attended.

A police spokesperson said “Enquiries are continuing, and a post mortem examination will be carried out in due course to determine the cause of death.

There are no further details at this time.”
