Bradley welcomes announcement in relation to the extension of rates relief

1 Mins read

Maurice Bradley MLA has welcomed today’s announcement from Finance Minister, Conor Murphy, in relation to the extension of rates relief.

“This is good news for local businesses,” said Bradley.

“In this area we are reliant on tourist trade, so the fact that hospitality, tourism, leisure and some retail business will not have to pay
rates until next year will go a long way in keeping these businesses afloat.

“Our economy will take some time to get up and running again after this, so any help that can be offered to businesses must be welcomed.”
