Charges being faced by a Portrush man have been withdrawn.

Kielan Allen (22), of Glenarm Avenue, had been accused of making a threat to a male that he would ‘burn down’ his home.

He was also accused of assaulting the male and damaging the male’s tee-shirt on May 15 this year.

The case was mentioned at Coleraine Magistrates Court on June 17 where a prosecutor said the charges were being withdrawn.
