A Bushmills man appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday charged with a number of offences which allegedly happened on Valentine’s Day this year.
Curtis Park (19), of Woodvale, is accused of wounding a male and a second charge of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent on the same male.
The defendant is also charged with possessing a knife in Coleraine and making a threat to kill the same male.
The accused is further charged with sexual assault.
The charge alleges the defendant ‘intentionally touched’ a female, ‘the circumstances being that the touching was sexual’.
The accused is also charged with obstructing a police officer.
The defendant appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on April 1 where a police officer said she believed she could connect him to the charges.
The case was adjourned to the end of April and the defendant was released on £500 bail.
He is to have no contact with a number of individuals and he is not to enter a part of Coleraine.
