Bushmills woman convicted of Benefit Fraud

A Bushmills woman was convicted at Coleraine Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 4th November for claiming benefits she was not entitled to.

Isobel Wilson (57) of Dunluce Court, Bushmills claimed Jobseeker’s Allowance and Housing Benefit totalling £4,246 while failing to declare employment. She was given a Conditional Discharge of three years.

She is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Department for Communities.
