Parking at council-owned car parks in the Borough will no longer be free.

Fees have been waived for almost three months amid the coronavirus pandemic but are soon set to return. Causeway Coast & Glens Council will be reintroducing its pay and display fees on Monday 6th July 2020.

Commenting on the introduction of charges Councilor Brenda Chivers said “Now that our town centres have started to gradually reopen, the council has made the decision to reintroduce parking charges, giving our businesses and shops a couple of weeks to settle into the new social distancing measures implemented in our towns.

To help reduce the spread of coronavirus, please use cashless payment methods, whenever possible.”
