Car stuck in soft sand at Benone Strand

1 Mins read

A vehicle was towed to safety after getting stuck in soft sand on Benone Strand this evening.

A spokesperson for Coleraine Coastguard said “The team has just returned from being tasked to a car stuck in soft sand on Benone Strand.

This incident is an example of our emergency workers being put at unnecessary risk. There is no reason anyone should be driving on our beaches at night.

Please STAY AT HOME”
